A gentle winter breeze ❄️🧬

September is here, days are getting shorter, temperatures are dropping, leaves are falling…

This sudden arrival of autumn has brought back fond memories of playing the Nintendo DS snuggled up under a cosy blanket, especially of playing Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
Despite not being my favourite game in the series, it was the one that introduced my favourite Eevee’s evolution into the Pokémon universe.

A stylish look, but a less than stellar ice type…
Am I the only person to see a ‘hime cut’?

Long story short, I really wanted to have Glaceon on my team, if only because I love the way it looks: so you can imagine my disappointment when I discovered that it wasn’t really possible to get Glaceon until the very end of the game. 😅

That’s it for the personal anecdote, now let’s get to the pictures!

The ‘crown’ on its head posed a couple of sewing problems, so beginners beware!

I am a little disappointed by the colour of Glaceon’s mane, it’s a shade of blue which I feel is a little too green for my taste.

I don’t even want to think about the difficulty of embroidering these diamonds by hand with such accuracy.

What is your favourite Eevee’s evolution?
Don’t hesitate to tell me in the comments below, as I’ll no doubt be making one of these evolutions sooner rather than later 😉.
